Not So Lazy Days of Summer
Le Double Ve has been busy this summer with outside projects and our other careers. We miss our vintage! We’ve collected a few new items and have been inspired by some old patterns so stay tuned for some great stuff coming this fall!
One project this summer was our terrace at the Le Double Ve lair! Ran errands today for multiple projects (as is the norm). I decided to give you guys a glimpse of a typical not so lazy summer day at the Le Double Ve household and share our updated terrace space. Stay cool y’all…

You Need Lemonade to Shuck Corn

Hey Brooklyn/NYC!
We’re having a trunk sale! Some of our summer-y items will be marked down from their original price. If you are in the Ft. Greene area Sat. June 4th come to the corner of S. Portland and Lafayette Ave! Vintage clothing and some housewares will be available as well as yummy lemonade. There will be other people there having a good ole stoop sale as well! Come catch some great scores! 10 am to 6 or 7 pm

In the Garden
Yesterday afternoon was spent in my friends brownstone in Fort Greene, Brooklyn at a GTL themed garden party; GTL meaning Girls, Tanning and Liquor. Most of my favorite ladies were in attendance including my mom! Unfortunately NYC weather yesterday was unseasonably cold and made sunbathing unbearable. Ashley of Ashford Gets Dressed fought the season and threw a sweater and socks over her oh-so-cute vintage bathing suit and rhinestone studded collar. Junk food and girlie cocktails were consumed in mass quantities, as well as lots of gossip. Having a Ladies Day is a great way to spend a Sunday!
